That is a genius cover for The Gunfighters – you always seem to excel at the covers for b+w stories! Looking forward to the next!

That is brillant. Can I ask what font you use for the title?

    Hi Joe,

Merry Christmas – and thanks for getting the new covers to us.

just to check that i’m up to date, can you confirm that the following covers are still outstanding (and hopefully on the drawing board!)…

051 – Spearhead From Space (Special Edition)
    058 – Colony In Space
060 – Day Of The Daleks
066 – Carnival Of Monsters (Special Edition)
    095 – The Sun Makers
135 – Caves Of Androzani (Special Edition)

For the Special Editions (Remastered) covers, I could quite happily live with the same artwork, but with updated special features text – but you’re the boss!

also, I can see there are 3 more new releases due in January – Invasion Of The Dinosaurs, Android Invasion and The Sensorites… I don’t envy your workload!

btw – hope your employment situation has improved.

Hi Brian, yep that list’s right (except for Day 😉 ). And as you say, more releases in January. I’ll get through ’em all eventually, there’s no rush really. But as I use them myself, you can be assured I have the motivation to keep my shelf looking uniform so I won’t dawdle unnecessarily.

The aim with the re-releases, as I’m sure you know, is basically to update the back cover details and just tidy up the artwork where my skills and picture resources have improved since I first did them. I should plough on with Carnival as that shouldn’t need much work, but Spearhead and (as previously discussed) Caves need a little more work. But they’re not forgotten.

Thanks for you wishes on the job front – nothing yet, but I’m keeping busy.

    Cheers
    JC
