The Horns of Nimon

And here it is! Click here to go to Velvet Jacket to preview and download my cover for The Horns of Nimon, and read about how I went about designing it here.

Just five 2010 releases left to do now, which I’m confident of getting done before the New Year (touch wood).

A great cover, as usual, and it’s fitting that Graham Crowden (who we so sadly lost recently)is on it.

I just want to thank you and show my appreciation for the great DrWho Covers that you are making. They are greatly appreciated.

One question I do have is if you will continue with these same style covers into the new 2005 and beyond series. There was a person making your style of covers for the new series but for some reason, maybe at your request, stopped making them. His last complete one was ‘174-School Reunion’. Since then all of my DVD covers are ‘coverless’ and I refuse to use any other style but yours. Thus I am hoping that you will also start making these covers. Till then I will be patiently waiting for them. Thanks in any case. Much appreciated for those that you have done and continue to do.

Hi Al, thanks for the comment, and thanks for subscribing to the blog!
No plans at the moment to continue with the New Series, I’m afraid. I did start to, but interest (and time!) seemed low, so they went on a very back burner. My covers for Series 1 and 2 are still available here, though.
For now the plan is to continue with the Classic covers as they’re released, then fill in the gaps with covers in the same style for the missing episode CDs – I do like the idea of having the full (Classic) series in uniform boxes and covers. After that, if we’re all still here, I might go back to the New Series, but I’d continue with covers to match the DVD releases, rather than individual stories, and they wouldn’t be in the standard VJ design, which was very much created to suit the original series. But that’s a long way off for now.
