The Dominators, The Curse of Peladon, Underworld, Planet of Fire, Silver Nemesis

At last, I’ve uploaded covers for the above five stories – click here to visit Velvet Jacket and download them.

I had hoped to have more done by now but things didn’t work out that way. Sorry to all who are waiting for more covers – I am doing them as fast as I can, but they just keep releasing more of the perishing DVDs! Fret not, they’ll all get done eventually – I have no intention of giving up.

Hope you like the new covers. The next one will be my 100th cover for the Who DVDs!

Cheers
JC

They look great but I am having problems getting to any except The Curse of Peladon. Maybe there’s an issue at this end… ?

I think you may have been trying while I was still uploading all the files, Ben (your eagerness is appreciated!). Try again now. Mail me if you still have problems – it’s quite possible I’ve named a link wrong or something.

Hurrah! New Covers. Links still not working though.

Was intrigued to see what colours you would choose for ‘The Dominators’. Also, ‘Silver Nemesis’ does bring back memories. Of both the VHS and the novelisation. I never owned it, but I seem to remember the cover being along similar lines.

Look forward to seeing the rest, when you get that far…

Gah, sorry guys. Who knew filenames were case sensitive? This is why I’m a designer and not a web programmer.
Should all be sorted out now.

Excellent covers, Joe! I particularly love The Dominators – which is so gorgeous I could almost eat it…

At last I can get rid of some more of tose BBC ones.

Now get back to the drawing board – you’ve got more work to do 🙂

Seiously, these are much appreciated. Cheers.

Great as always, but have you noticed that Underworld is missing its classification

D’oh! Thanks Andi, well spotted. I’ve updated the site graphics and the ZIP of the actual cover.

I’ve put on a PG rating, however, rather than the 12 the disc oddly seems to have been given. I haven’t read anything about why this should be a 12, but in the past it’s usually been a mistake or because the BBFC have misheard something in an extra. It’s ridiculous that any Doctor Who should be rated 12 and looks silly on the shelf, so I’ve downgraded it. I hope no one’s annoyed by it.

    Cheers

Great stuff. I think the 12 certificate may be there for one of the documentaries or commentaries rather than the content of the actual serial. Not sure why exactly though…
